to Kerstin

Emily Dickinson once wrote a poem entitled, "Death is a Dialogue";

Death is a dialogue between

The spirit and the dust.

“Dissolve,” says Death. The Spirit, “Sir,

I have another trust.”

Death doubts it, argues from the ground.

The Spirit turns away,

Just laying off, for evidence,

An overcoat of clay.

When I think of Kerstin, in my mind there is a dialogue of joy and sorrow - the joy that the warm brightness of her presence created and the sorrow of knowing she is no longer with us...

Thank you for everything you gave this world, Kerstin. I am grateful for having spent some short moments in your radiance.

Kerstin was, as always, a visible and vocal part of the previous Nordic conference. I am now planning the next conference and have set aside time on the program to honor her contribution to social network therapy.

I hope many of you will be able to join us on the 8th-9th of October, 2010 in Valdres for the 7th Nordic Conference on Social Network Therapy.
